Delivery Cost
Unless otherwise stated prices on this web-site do not include delivery. You can find out how much delivery will cost for products in your cart by clicking on the basket symbol at top right and entering your post code - simple as that.
Delivery Times
Deliveries are made between 0800 & 1730hrs, Monday to Friday.
Please advise us of any restrictions on delivery times - we will try to accommodate reasonable requests but cannot offer guarantees.
'Before Noon', 'Before 10am' and 'Saturday' delivery services can often be arranged at extra cost - please contact us for further info.
Many products are in in stock and are shipped on a next working day basis. We use delivery companies with reliability records above industry average though none are perfect so we cannot offer guarantees, except that where you have paid extra for a premium service such as Before Noon, Before 10am, or Saturday and the carrier failed to deliver the extra payment would be refunded.
When goods are dispatched we will notify you by email, usually accompanied with tracking number for the carrier concerned.
If any products turn out not to be in stock or there is a delay for any reason we will do our best to notify you promptly.
Where products have longer lead times we do our best to indicate this on the product pages. For instance counters, card racks and slatwall gondolas are made to order.
If you wish for a delivery to occur on a particular day Mon-Fri please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.
Damages
Our delivery drivers & carriers take care with your deliveries. In the unlikely event that outer packaging appears damaged in any way please inspect the goods while the driver waits. If goods are damaged, sign for as "damaged" and contact us. Claims for damages or shortages must be made within 3 days.
Home Delivery
We are a business-to-business supplier so our delivery companies are not home delivery specialists. This means that they cannot give a delivery time or call in advance and they require someone to be present to sign for the goods.
Deliveries for slatwall, cabinets & counters and other palletised goods
These are often made by articulated lorry. You must advise us if lorry cannot get to within reasonable distance during normal working hours or delivery will be to kerbside. You are responsible for unloading! Drivers are unaccompanied & are not obliged to help with unloading so you will need to have adequate manpower. In practice many drivers will assist and sometimes a tail-lift vehicle is used so that the pallet can be left for you to unload at your leisure. Failure to notify us of any restrictions can result in failed delivery & additional delivery costs.
Further information for large slatwall boards: If you haven't handled large slatwall boards you may be surprised at how heavy & awkward to handle they are. For 2.4 x 1.2m slatwall panels delivered by lorry you will need two fit, strong people i.e. not those re-covering from recent heart operations, your mother, etc (yes, it has happened). This is so that the driver can slide the boards down off the lorry to two people. For 1.2 x 1.2m panels one fit person will be required.
If in doubt ask for more information or use 1200 x 1200 boards.
Returns
We are a business-to-business supplier so The Distance Selling Regulations do not apply.
We cannot accept returns for bespoke or made-to-order items.
Returning standard products
We can accept returns for standard products within 30 days of order. You must include a proof of purchase such as a copy of our picking note or invoice so we know where the goods have come from when they arrive.
Option 1 - You Return The Goods
We will refund the price you paid for the items excluding delivery provided they are in brand new condition in the original packaging. At our discretion we will make deductions from the amount refunded for incomplete or damaged goods.
Option 2 - We Collect The Goods
If you want us to send a carrier in to you to collect the goods for return this can be arranged. Note that the cost of return will be deducted from the amount of refund and the carriers charge extra for 3rd party collections - starting cost for this service is £15+vat. We will advise you of the exact cost when you contact us. Note that if the carrier company is unable to collect because premises is closed there will be extra costs for additional attempts. If the goods returned are not in the original packaging or are not brand new we make deductions at our sole discretion.
